Being his best mate since early school days (about5-6) I feel Dave "The Rave" Whitehead was one of the best lads there was, and taken way too early from us.
I remember the days when he had bleached blonde curtained hair and his glasses, which i always told him he still needed!! lol, When we used to get caught smoking on the school trips, or even earlier when I used to stop at his house and we would play strip poker on his old amiga (good days!!).
This site is my tribute to Dave and would like everyone who knew Dave to leave their respects and share their stories about Dave The Rave.
Also all my love goes out to Dave's little boy Henley.

Hi bro
I've been upset lately as it is coming up to the day you left us.
I've been thinking back to when we was younger n we use to have a laugh n you use to be my big brother!
Been tell Andrew and Lacey about the fun times!
Just the other day I was sat in a car park opposite a park in mapplewell and a memory came back to me that I forgot about.
I remembered when we was younger Me, you, Steven playing basketball in that park and you was so tall and I was so little so I didn't see the point in trying to challenge you and even if I did the nets were too high for me to even throw the ball into lol. :)
I hope everyone thinks of them positive time like I do cos we all have plenty.
